I lived in my home town til I was 9 then moved a further 4 times in the next 5 years, parents have currently been in the same house for ~6 years although I don't really have much inclination to go back there after uni...

Yep - lived in my Grans for 6 months as a babe, while the folks got a house. Then we lived on an estate in Surbiton (Alpha Estate for those nearby).

Lived in Tolworth after that- about 1 mile away.
Then a house share on the Surbiton Kingston border (just of Villiers Hill)
Then back in Tolworth for 6 months when the house share fell through (good riddance- not doing that again!)
Then Chessington for 2 years with a girlfriend.
Then back to Surbiton with same gf for 6 months (just across the road from the Alpha Estate!)
Then to another house in the same road, same landlord when we split up and ex also lives in this road, same landlord, almost identical flat, 1 building along!!! (we're still good friends- the ex that is, not the landlord. He is a bit of a prat!)

So- I haven't moved very far- lived in a 5 mile radius all my life!
