English version Sausage meat in a flackey pastry Link sausage in a bread roll Scottish version Sausage meat in flackey pastry Link sausage in a bread roll Sliced sausage of the round variety Lorne sausage in a bread roll [THE BESTEST EVER] The later Scottish version being the norm when a sausage roll requested whilst north of the wa'[Large structure built by Romans for some ignominious reason] Going on to sandwich,both north and south have sandwiches with Link sausages---------BUT Lorne sausage is square to fit the shape of the bread thereby filling the complete sandwich,accompanied by a liberal dressing of BROON sauce |

It's not sausage roll anyway, it's "ROLL AND SAUSAGE" !!!
Take this from one of the two universally recognised SV Ecosse experts in providing breakfast to hungry bikers...
