The intricacies of a sausage roll.
English version Sausage meat in a flackey pastry
Link sausage in a bread roll
Scottish version Sausage meat in flackey pastry
Link sausage in a bread roll
Sliced sausage of the round variety
Lorne sausage in a bread roll [THE BESTEST EVER]
The later Scottish version being the norm when a sausage roll requested whilst north of the wa'[Large structure built by Romans for some ignominious reason]

Going on to sandwich,both north and south have sandwiches with Link sausages---------BUT Lorne sausage is square to fit the shape of the bread thereby filling the complete sandwich,accompanied by a liberal dressing of BROON sauce

We used to get Potato Cakes when I grew up in Liverpool - they're just fat versions of Tattie Scones...

They do, they just don't know where to put them. When I used to live in Littlehampton my local supermarket had them in the exotic foods section!

It's not sausage roll anyway, it's "ROLL AND SAUSAGE" !!!
