I stick mine on the pointy's rev counter. It's never fallen off on it's own, but has come off in my hand and thats because when I stuck it on it was overlapping the edge of the rev counter slightly compromising the airtight seal. If its sealed properly it's not going anywhere. I teather it with a short strap around the top yoke anyway so if it falls off it's not going further than the bottom yoke.
I've tried a freezer bag in the rain but it flaps about and mists up you can't see the screen, in the rain I use a tankbag map pocket. |
