Got my renthal streetfighter bars through on sat and are now fully fitted.
No Mods to cable lengths were necessary, just had to re route my throttle cables and modify my bar ends as the renthal bars are much thicker. Will post some pics when i get my new mirrors fitted...should be soon. Thanks to all for there help and advice. |

I've got Renthals on my SV1000s and think I have the perfect bike and riding position! However I can offer no advice on how to do it as I bought it like that.

There was plenty of slack in both the swich gear cables. Just pulled some through from the front off the frame. The left hand switch gear cable does tighten up on full lock but its not going tight enough to strech the cable so it turns freely with out catching or snagging.
FG1, yes i have it on full lock with the engine running and its fine. zsv650, going by your aviator your sv looks to be 2006 model onward so it possably could have slightly different wirring to mine as i have a k5. I found the bars so be at similar angles to the standard but having an extra 2" a side make a huge difference to the riding and much more comfortable. I will upload pictures at the end of the week to let you see how the cables are. |

I've got renthals on mine and I've had to hide switchgear slack under the frame all curled up
