If it's an aprillia I have to put it in the same category as a ducati. Desirable but pricey!! So I just can't have one. Unless they are cheap to buy run and service, lol.

Naked thou be nice, won't handle like your ZX6R though
I don't mind hustling my bikes a bit (i'm heavy it helps) but will require good handling when the mood takes me. If the Zed thou is mental it could be the one (new) or a second hand duke 990 if i can find one maybe. Too many bikes. All of them a compromise.

What about a big muscle bike then? ZRX12 or something? Or even look back a bit and build yoursen an EFE with modern running gear?

What's that mentalist thing?

Looks amazing, possibly a little flamboyant for me. But has got me thinking.

From a bike I will require
  • proper stomp
  • Upright seatingness
  • reliabilitiy
  • a very slight and gentle nod towards practicality
From my extensive drunken net researchI can see that an FZ1 has 150bhp and may fit the bill. Although I reckon i'd like the bonkers nature of a Duke 990 more. One things for sure my previous love for 2 stroke-esque power deliveries has been ruined by the ninja slightly, so i can't get an RD350.

Go to the "forced induction" section on oldskoolsuzuki.info and stay there until you start looking for parts on eBay. Then there is no going back muahaha.

Have a read up on them as you may get a surprise. Price and durability compare as well as what you currently have. It's popular with big folks as its a tall bike with bags of torques and more power than you will ever be able to use on the road.

It looks a little too hardcore for me.
Would definitely show me up for the crap rider I am.

That bonkers thing chris posted, not the tuono.

I've actually been recomended one. but there is no aprilia parts backing up north. Although that may be standard as they are italian i believe or spanish.

Nah.

25 years old frame... so if anyone is quicker than you... hey, it's an antique.

But if you overtake anyone then you have tamed the beast of the katana and are a riding god!

And they're a very cool bike, will get more attention than some brand new plastic rocket any day!
