Cause most of them don't know an F4 Tamburini from a CG125.

Think the reason there are no girls in the higher racing classes is cash, simple as that. It take a fair bit of it at the lower levels (club racing) to start to get noticed and not too many sponsers take girls on bikes seriously untill its too late

I think it's more that basically there aren't generally any girls that are quick enough to warrant progression into the upper tiers. The sponsors would probably choose to invest in a girl rather than a young lad if they were of equal (fairly competitive) speed. In such a male dominated sport the girl and her sponsors are going to be guaranteed exposure that the young lad would not get.

motorcycle racing seems very... closed i guess is the word?

another thing is the view of grid girls by typical feminists... the general view is that they are dressed slutty for "Male" interest and they are basicaly basing there careers on there looks and body.. the question this particular feminist asked.. was "what happens when her looks run out"..
i say shed be rich enought to not give a crap.. i bet grid girls get paid a bucket load by sponsors.. i honestly think that feminists have it wrong.. like maybe its the girls who are the smart ones.. although maybe not so apparently sometimes, if i got offered to skimp up and hold an umbrella for a stack of cash.. pfft.. who wouldnt!!

id love to see more women racers!! id love to see more grid girls!!
Those grid girls don't get much.

Feminists are usually huge, ugle, with warts on their faces. They are jealous, nothing more...

Theres a lass in the Superteens Aprillia racing..

In cars, theres a number of female racers doing not too badly. In fact I think one of them recorded her best result in US Indycar by coming 3rd the other week.

Motorcycle racing requires strength though, lots of it. Whilst i'd love to see a successful female motorcycle racer, I just can't see them cutting it at the very top level.

Same reasons why males are faster/stronger when it comes to athletics etc (before the women start whinging away). Its simple fact.

I'd like to see a female in F1, WSB etc, but at the moment I don't think they could cut it. I think women could get by in F1 much easier than they could in bike racing, less human physical effort is needed.

Reactions? Do men have quicker reactions to situations in terms of driving????

rant over!
Thats twice in a week you've taken Kleenex over real life women...

Dude, theres some issues there, there really is.....

Pit girls are good to look at whilst awaiting the impending storm of racing. Some are the racers gf/wives, some are just sponsers girls, some are trying to make a career for them. Its good viewing, whats the problem? Sex sells, end of story. Debate it all you want, but its fact.... Sex sells.... A racing team is a business there to make money.

Dude, your weird

I don't have any answers as to how women can get better representation in sports, but i'd go as far as to say that being a brolly dolly isn't going to help them break through the glass ceiling.

Back down to strength again isn't it really.

Men can throw the ball faster, harder, and hit it faster, harder...

Its the same with Football, our UK ladies team is far more successfull than the mens teams. But have you watched it? Its slower, sloppier, not as skillfull overally etc.. It really shows the difference when watching the male premireship.

Disagree about the Paralymics. I watch a lot of it on daytime TV, including an awful lot of Gold medals won by UK Paralymians and enjoyed it.

As said, im not against it all, im all for women getting more into motorsport, i've said it for years, but IMO these are the reasons.
