Nice photos there, I'm currenty in South Wales, Sennybridge, and I've never seen the place look so nice as I did yesterday... Sunshone for hours.

Thanks Quiff , it has been nice having the time to do things. I must frantically pack and clean today though, only one night left in Aberystwyth

Bibio and Rictus, will get Chris to google the route for you when I've finished up on the laptop The route does come out a dead end if you don't happen to want to go to Aberystwyth. We conveniently found a mountain road taking us to Devil's Bridge which was a nice surprise and turned out to be an amazingly fun road. We practically had it to ourselves too, thursday afternoons are a good time for bimbles!!

Aber
A44 - llangurig
A470 - rhyader
Right (ish) - up to elan valley reservoir, turn left over bridge to go up the dead end
Left-right-left x 300 around all the f#cking sheep in the road.
Back down to bridge and turn left over mountain road to cymystwyth. (great fun!)
Devils bridge, then A4120 back to aber

well apart from your start, seems my memory wasn't that bad, I done that about 21 years ago, from there I went down the A470 and across a great little B road (b435 at Newbridge to get to the Brecon beacons off the A483.

Arrrrh memories....
