So based on that why the f#ck would police say 50-50!?!? That is total admission of liability!

It wouldn't surprise me if that was write-off. How much was bike?

Fairings and "stuff" will probably be a grand or more. Radiator is 500 or so. It will be expensive day out for him. Probably better to sort it on insurance.

Brand new bike? +1

I'd estimate the repair bill at at least £1000.

Based on what you are saying, get a good solicitor and your insurance involved. No way is that 50-50. You will not lose your NCB if he is wholly to blame.

Fight it....

I done a post as well somewhere. I fought it for 3 years, but eventually won my case.

There are examples of previously won cases that will og in your favour. As long as you were riding properly and not being a little biased

Go through the insurance its what its for... also that way he cant agree to settle in private with you and then change his mind later on...

Yeah go through insurance.

Just read yours, sounds EXACTLY like mine, only difference was the bloke decided to do a U turn of which I bounced off his FRONT wing.

He tried to false claim i'd hit him, (no damage on that side of bike, my leg took the impact). I just constently informed the insurance/legal team. Took photographs, drew where the impact took place etc... He was driving a sh1tter...

Fight it!!!!

What speed was the traffic travelling at?

That also sounds like him admitting full liability at the scene, and if he told the police, they should have took a statement.

Go through the insurance, he may think it'l be a cheap way to go through without the insurance, until he sees the bill to fix you're bike.

Very crap i know blame paint.

Anyhow the green blob is me red blob is me where hte bike ended up.

Arrow indicates how he was turning to hit me.

There were no junctions he could have been turning into, my only thought is he was trying a u turn maybe. I was well away from other cars i was passing to avoid hitting their mirrors.

Traffic was stationary he was stationary at the time and over to the kerb.

Police Officer i spoke to was completely unsympathetic to me and despite me being in pain interviewed me in the back of the ambulance. I'd guess he doesnt like bikers, despite arranging my garage to pick up the bike he refused to watch over the bike until pickup or even secure it (steering lock and dlock in my bag). Note it was in the middle of an unsavoury estate where it could have easily been nicked.

My only issue with insurance is my premiun aint low atm anyway so i dont want it going higher!! (700 fully comp on 5k bike)

Sue him. Your ins co will appoint a solicitor. You will probably get 100% including compensation for your injury. Takes a long time (mine took 2 years), but keep on top of the paperwork and you should be alright.

So chin up!

Spoke to the garage engine /frame is fine its just cosmetic damage but its fairing left/front, left indicator, rad grill, pegs etc.

I'm glad theres no engine damage but still its gonna cost .
