I had a stainless steel fuel can on mine (google Fuel Exhausts). Only £130, removable baffle and link pipe). Sounded brilliant and well made. Depends how much you want or have to spend though. Its been said before but any aftermarket can makes it sound awesome

to be honest you could prolly buy an unbranded generic can off ebay and it'd sound mint. I had a beowulf stubby length oval can on mine, think it was £140, sounded great

The catalytic convertor is in the stock can, so when you chop it off and fit an aftermarket can, you're basically giving your engine a giant loudspeaker to shout through where there was once a muzzle you'll see what we're on about if you fire the sv up with no can at all

Are you still going on about that stumpy? You should get your bloody indicators checked you mug (maybe even consider using them)... And anywho, weren't you pulling me over to tell me about your ham fisted throttle control & how you'd just done a "whacky powerslide" or summink? Muppet!

So anyway moojuice, we're all good mates here & davepreston has never called me fat

i see theres been an incident with you two fellas
speaking of indicators on the way to prop my licence off to honda a guy realy pulled infront of me as i was hacking traffic. nearly sh*t myself

i stopped and back peddled to his window, word where exchanged

so general tips so far:

just get used to the bike before anything.
get a cheap can cus theyll all sound good.
get a gixxer front
break pads
tailtidy
and ofcours FAVE FUN!
