in the last few years i have lived at my current house i believe there has been 5 different posties.

most have been great but one had to deliver a parcel once and a s soon as i opened the door he threw it at me then ran off - guess he doesn't like dogs then!!

the present postie is a bit older and likes to stop for a chat. he even asked if we used to live at the house 3 doors away as occasionally there were letters with our name but that house number. we did and bless him he is going to look out for stuff now and will put it through our door from now on.

thumbs up for posties

A big non-thank you to whoever at Royal Mail for losing (stealing) the immaculate set of twelve 3/8 drive Snap-On sockets on a QD rail that I bought from a guy on ebay.

That was my christmas present to myself, which you managed to ruin. Every year I tell my family not to buy me anything, and instead I treat myself to something nice. Because my lovely sockets went missing I had to buy myself a Givi to*bo* and rack instead, so the tradition of buying myself something nice has ended.

No post today, whats going on? Usual weekly items which would have been delivered Monday or Tuesday still haven't been delivered. But I know they are delivering in my region, as I saw a postie on the Tv cheerfully saying the snow wasn't going to stop him, but what about my postie !!!!!!!!

If we don't get any tomorrow, I'm gonna call and find out whats going on

My Postie is a To55er , he used to leave my sliding front door open EVERY time and let all the heating escape . I left a polite notice but that was ignored . I happen to come back early on my bike one day and caught him in the act . I stepped off the bike , called him back , pointed at the door and said "It didn`t open itself did it , shut the F***er from now on will you or I will extract a Tenner out of your wallet with a large stick to pay for my heating losses."

Seems to have worked .

Again no post today, even my neighbour asked my wife if we had any delivery. Grrrrr

Wife rang up and got through to a call centre and hung up because the recorded message was carp

Rang the sorting office, 1 mile from my house, answerphone!

My paper was still delivered everyday and the guy who delivers is over 60. I still got my freebie paper today, which is delivered by a teenager pulling a trolley.

So why can't my postman deliver?????

Ok today was the worst day, but the last 2 weren't so bad. I've done a full days work everyday since the snow arrived. Grrrrrr
