that's no problem. i still have it on my license and have not had a problem, but you never know they may have changed their minds all of a sudden.

Re: Cadwell - Friday 26th Feb
But how do you find it with intermediates & fast group out at the same time - is it not a nightmare with either slower people or faster people than you?

Re: Cadwell - Friday 26th Feb
You just adapt. If there's someone really slow out on track you adapt to them. Once you've passed them you have about 5-10 laps before you'll lap them again (depending on how slow they are) People are in and out of the pits all day so the chances are you will be the slow guy at one point.
Its so much more relaxed a day and you don't have to stay out to get "best value" when you get tired. Its not like the last five minutes of a later session where you stay out despite being on the verge of collapsing With lots of different abilities on the track it also allows you to see how the various abilities take the corners. Follow an intermediate and see where a fast guy does things differently. I learnt so many little differences doing Knockhill like this. With a lot of blind and late apexes it was really good to see where the really fast guys turned in and which line they took. Really helped me on one corner especially where I was turning in about 25 yards too early! And the amount of tinkering time makes up for any other shortcomings on the day. Its so much easier to change tyres or suspension settings corner entries or whatever else you fancy when you know you can come in and go out when you like. Re: Cadwell - Friday 26th Feb
Thanks for the advice. Sounds good, although I do worry I would just stay out too long - not knowing what to twiddle if I did come in
I see 31/3/10 (Wednesday) is only £69 |
