to get the the read lift the tank, pull the lead out and use the plug spanner in your tool kit to remove the rear one, the front one is abit harder, unbolt the radiator at the bottom only push it away from the front plug gently pull the lead out and again using the plug spanner from the suzuki tool kit remove it and in gear give it a push. if it rolls away the engine is "salvageable" easily provided the engine is turning over.
Whoaaaw cowboy, i wasnt meaning anyone in particular.
The statement about a professional also excluded me from that.
My gut feeling about this lads motor is fubar but im no 'professional', hence the reason why i said get one.

I would, in the mean time see if your current one is salvageable (p.s major de ja vu on this thread ) but if you don't have the mechanical know how to strip the engine and fix it yourself I think your best bet is getting a replacement engine at a good price and paying/convincing someone to swap it for you, as a straight engine swap would be less messing about (which means less £ if you're paying) than taking out an shagged one, stripping it, waiting for parts & bumming about etc. (if it can even be salvaged) and then putting it back in and hoping it works.
I hope you can atleast make a good brew

At least if you buy a 2nd hand engine, you can flog off some of the salvagable parts to recoup some of your outlay for a replacement engine.

Pointy cams are sought after by curvy owners and racers as an instant power gain, so they go for reasonable money

without check the things i have said im not leaving my house to look it over, and all engines can be rebuilt unless the engine casing is smashed/spilt. its just the cost of parts/professional machining. so when the op says he cant get the plugs out or has checked what i have said im not considering get out to look at it.
You dont really need a compression test as the engine isnt moving in gear with the plugs in normally implies compression.
