I have also got a compressed air powered 18g nail gun which if you hold the shoe and fire the thin nails go a fair distance

Mountain bike time now. Topeak Alien, the best bike Multi tool I have ever owned, way better than the old Cooltool I owned before it.

If you ride a mountain bike and go into the wilds, this thing is a must have for your riding kit. The tools on it are very well made and are almost up to Workshop Quality. I have had mine for ten years or so and the the only thing I have had to do to it is sharpen the blade once.

Second favourite is this.

Swiss Army Climber Knife.

This little knife has been with me for longer than my Alien, it has seen better days and the red plastic cover has been damaged, but the action on the blade opening is still smooth and the blade is so easy to keep sharp. I have used this knife for everything from cutting Brie on a pick-nick to cutting Aluminium cans to make shims. Always reliable and it lives on my key ring next to my final gadget.

Mountain Safety whistle
by Lifesystems. Never had to use it for an emergency thankfully, but I know that it is always with me and will never let me down.

Topeak have always been the dog's thingies. Unfortunately, the price tag matches the quality, but they really are worth their weight in... whatever metal they're made of.

Don't hold your hopes up too high, the competition is fierce this month and I wouldn't be surprised if the winning photo has already been posted.
