How does that look, 2 hours 5 mins according to Google maps and as we'll be taking it easy that's probably realistic. If we leave Hopwood as soon as we are all there and ready, about 1:30, and we have a 1/2 hour coffee stop mid way somewhere, we'll be done and heading home from Henley in Arden by 4pm.

We can do the route in reverse if it suits anybody better. I'll have sat nav and map on board.

Old Git, which is better from Worcester to Evesham, the A44, or the B4084?

Everyone remember the tarmac is cold on Fish Hill

Was really tempted for a moment there to go out to the garage now, and put my newly equipped forks and the nose back on the SV, but then remembered there's no way to get road tax on a Sunday.

Another question for Old Git, half way point will be about your neck of the woods. Where is good for a coffee stop?

Did you get on ok with the forks last week at Johns (icanopit)?
Im interested to hear the results.

The man's an engineering wizard and has a heart of gold! Got on very well with it and can't wait to try out the transformed forks. I've got a fair bit I want to do whilst the nose and forks are off first though.

I reserved a new rear shock by phone today, taken off an 09 plate ZX10R, collecting it on Monday. 8mm longer than the SV shock with a spring rate of 9.1, compared to the current 7.7, and adjustable for everything. Think I'll be asking for John's recommendations on rebound and high & low speed compression damping though, because I wouldn't have a clue. Preload and ride height also adjustable, but I can cope with that.

I am from Pershore (folks live there).....my honest view is just before peopleton cut over Egdon lane onto the B4084, go through Pershore, then you have national limit through to Evesham. The A44 is just boring, plus a lot of traffic.
