i think thats the issue faith is a big ask.
Just out of curiosity i was having a convo with a guy at work who was arguingthat supersports tyers warm up faster than sports touring and would be better for my 5 mile commute. Your thourghts? |

I use a super sticky tyre on my bike.
I know its a trade off with mileage but I prefer the grip (that said, I'm getting about 7k out of the rear so far). They do warm up really quickly but as has been said, it's all about having confidence in your tyres. |

Hard to tell i suspect SS will take longer at road speeds, Sport touring is best for road riding imho. Last edited by suzsv650; 15-03-10 at 01:19 PM. |

Conti sport attacks.
The only problem with them was that hammering down the motorway most fridays in the summer wore the middle down quite quick ![]() |

Couple of hundred mile round the lanes and the Corsa will look normal, mine can look a bit scrubbed at times due to the soft outer compound on hard chipped roads

Agree with Dicky Ticker, that Corsa has done a track day and got hot and thats why it looks like that.
I'd also say although its hard to guess from the pictures that it has a reasonable amount of life left in it. Unless the profile has gone square personally I'd be inclined not to change it just yet. I found when I had them on my GSXR that they actually worked quite well in the rain as well as the dry.
