I personally don't think that a K3 naked is worth £2.3k, even if it hadn't been dropped, let alone crashed/repaired.

With a head on, into the back of something with enough force to do the damage done and throw you that far, I'd be very suspicous as to whether the hole in the headstock is still round.

Ok so I am recycling stuff said about another bike that was wrecked in similar circumstances, but if the frame IS screwed...

ok to start, i have had 6 pints, second thebike didnt fling me off on impact alone i was already on the front wheel by that point,so was not a head on so to speek i wouldnt take 500 if you oferd it me right now cash ohh and dont wory the bike will be profesionaly checked out

even when you can get a sv front for like 400? If the forks are even damaged

Sorry Barwel, but in the state its in at the moment, you are dreaming slightly about how much to you'll get it for.
I'm selling my bike at the moment, and you can ride off on it, it might be ten yr old, but people will more likely walk over to mine and take it off my hands than yours, at the price you thinking.

Sorry, you'll be losing out of your own pocket to get it right, best keep it and do it up, then flog it in a year or two when you know its completely trustworthy

I agree on all the above, 500 squid max in that condition. I also think 2300 is over priced in spankin condition for a K3...i would know as i had one not so long ago with about 2500 miles on it and if i remmy correctly i got 2200 (and that was only coz me father-in-law had it offa me )

It would seem that you have gotten quite attached to the bike so keep it and fix it up to rag about till your restrictions up. Im pretty sure no other bike restricted will give you the torque the SV does (most IL4's dont seem to cope with the castration)

the forks dident touch the car as i practicly nose wheelied it in to the car and if its worth 500 then i might as well scrap it, less hastle on my part
