Having used Michelin 2cts and Corsa 111,not a lot between them but I prefer the Michelin for the type of riding I do.Currently on Corsa111 with about 2000miles on but I hope to get another 2000 from it. Both types seem to give me 2 rears to 1 front so if it gives up on holiday I will fit another Corsa111 to the rear as I prefer to ride on matched sets.

I put BT021s on by SV and thought they were OK but I haven't ridden many bikes so have't much to compare them to.
I will try get a sport touring tyre for the back and hopefully it will last a bit longer. As I already have a Bridgestone on the front with plenty of life left in it I will stick to these. Prob another BT021. Have a look at a different set after this one has gone. Thanks for the info guys.

Let us know how it goes, I have BT-014s and I hate them, but I'll be going BT-016s next. Then I'll be considering replacing the rear with a BT-021, so it would be nice if you've already tested that combination for me

That saying the 016's seem to get a better write up, but I'd still not part with my own money for them.

What is it with the BT-014s, they really are universally hated. On my last bike I went from them to Avon Viper Sports and had so much more confidence immediately.
I am going to try the 16s though as I've heard many good things from many people about them. |

014's are OK when you can keep the heat in them, but show them a drop of rain or you back the pace off once they loose a bit of temperature I could never get a good feel from the bike. I also found them unpredictable. I came onto a roundabout rolled the throttle on gently on the exit, next thing the rear is spinning up and the bikes all crossed up, coupled with no feel from the front end, plus the fact that I didnt feel that 800 miles from a rear tyre was acceptable, especially when my Power 2CT lasted 3500 miles...
Alot of people on gixerjunkies reported similar things so I dont think its just me either.. F*cking things... yuck...

Yes, they worked fine on the track last year, but I guess thats a situation where you definitely build up and keep the heat in them. Not so on the road. What you got on yours now Fizz? Sorry for the thread hijack Lenny!

Have had 014 Corsa III Metzler Z6's I think I like the 2CT's best, but there isnt much to choose between them and the Corsa III, the Corsa III is probably a little better in the wet as they give better feel, but I like the profile of the 2CT over the Corsa III.

+1 Both very good tyres but require a different approach on the ST,
The Corsa 111 seems to tip into the corners quicker making you aware of counter steer where as the 2CT just feels a more compliant tyre with the bike going where you point it without undue effort. Possibly just the type of bike more than the tyre profile, or vice versa, I like both. |

I don't like the Corsa IIIs. I had them on my R1 and have just binned them off for some Pilot Power 2CTs. These are immediately better than the Corsas I had before. Nicer turn in, better grip. Used to lose the front on the Corsas all the time. Not had one slip on the PP 2CTs. A lot more confidence inspiring.
