Sat pm: Net-shopping for (push-)bike stuff (tyres, shorts, etc)
Sat eve: Fettling (push-)bike for Sunday morning. No wine

Sun am: Barnardo's Charity Bike Ride (38 pleasant, flat-ish miles in Vale of Glamorgan). Good cause so PM if you'd like to sponsor me

Sun eve: Rub-down with damp copy of Cycling Weekly and wine-lube

I borrowed my mate's identical bike when I was about 20 and crashed it into a roundabout the night before he left for the TT, we spent all of the next day lashing it up with used parts to get it back on the road. It looked a shed but got him there and back in one piece.

Sunday - much needed day off, but going to be fairly busy preparing for a 3 day visit to hospital for my long awaited kidney operation on Tuesday.

In work on call all weekend but got my New Citroen C1 last night. Well 56 plate but i really enjoy the car. better than my Fiat Punto anyway which is dying slowly. Got a nice little callout last night too £30 towards my £4k bill for the car.
