You could easily get a decent used Sprint ST for that money. It's at the sporty end of the sports tourer market and you'll love the torquey Triple engine.

Aprillia Mille. Loads of torque.

Brand new Benelli Tornado for £6k, or £3500 upwards for 2nd hand. No need to rev then
