Many thanks Pete, I'll ask Sally to remember this.

KJ your departure time is spot on, so me and my mate will meet up with you somewhere.

Err why do I need to remember this? I'm only leading from Colchester to The Ace. After that I'm following whoever's in front til I reach the sheep!
Whereabouts are you Mavi?

Any idea when and where you'll be in the EAR area?

I havent even looked at a map yet, Dickie have you got any ideas of a route in mind? Dont fancy miles of motorway but dont want it to take forever either, maybe 'A' roads?? I'll have a look later today x

Did think it was a little odd i have to admit, and i did wonder if that might be you referring to your sat nav, but then i thought "surely Dickie wouldnt be THAT strange....."

Only joking hun, good to know one of us will know which way to go!!
Im ok if i write a list of road numbers and put in in my map holder but i advise you NEVER EVER EVER follow Jeff if you're unsure, even when he knows which road we're looking for he has a habit of wandering off in the most obviously WRONG direction and then having to u-turn in the most worrying spots

Thats why he's the only HGV driver i've ever met who never has to go further than 5 miles from his depot in his truck!!!

Right getting organised now

I've modified Pete's suggested route for mine & Suzuki Paul's needs, as we don't really want to go from Peterbough. I've also avoided going through Ledbury as there's big event on there

Thanks to the link Seggons posted up I've loaded the route from Goolgemaps onto Sally.

So here's our route. Who's joing us?

KJ I'd suggest meeting up at either Kettering services on the A14 or just off junction 1 of the M6, which is where Sally is required.

Let me know any problems or ideas to make this work smoothly

Route looks fine Dickie, thought the same myself cos i live nearer Huntingdon than Peterborough.

The easiest place for us to meet will be Brampton Hut Services at the A14/A1 junction. that is only 5 mins from mine and actually on route

Is Rich riding with us do you know?

Martin, do you want to meet us at Brampton too?

Forgive the REALLY stupid question but ive only ever ridden alone, as a couple or as a big group. Whats the etiquette when riding in a small group? I assume you're leading as you have sat nav, do we do the drop off system or just try and stay together....dont want to do anything stupid and cause confusion!!!
