The easiest way to clean the inside of Mand's is to spray her all over with febreeze and then put her leathers on, this makes sure you don't miss any, if you need a hand just let me know, i'm free most days

Re: Pledge
Don't use it on seat of leathers & seat of bike - might just be a bit gripless.

Washed the leathers I use for supermoto (grubby, smelly, and loaded with salt-stains) in the machine with woolite (from memory). I did this after reading up on it, and figured since they had been well-abused already I had nothing to lose by trying.

After laundering you need to dry them at room temp (takes 4-5 days) and rub in plenty of scent-free lotion each day. Result was they came out looking near-new (aside from the crash damage), soft, and supple. Smelled nice and clean also

Of course you have to remove all of the armour etc. And be sure not to let them get dry and crusty - use lots of lotion!

The argument I read for laundering was it gets out the trapped dirt, salt, and other chemicals (that can break down the leather) that surface cleaning can't. I wish I still had the link, but it was recommended by a guy in the states that had a rep for making very good custom leathers for the racers in his area.

I like sliding around on the seat so works good for me.
Although not as slippery as one might expect.

Stateside Pledge must be a bit more grippy than ours.
