hey allan, finally had time to get back on to let you know the fairing turned up the other day, I initially thought you'd sold me a bag of crap as it looked terrible in places and looked like it's been badly repaired but once i started peeling (literally) the layers of paint off it looks really good, did you know it was originally silver, then someone painted it in the 1999 blue, then someone else painted it black then you did it in silver again.
 The person who did the blue colour didn't bother to sand down the original laquer too much so it's like peeling an orange, makes the respray that much easier  The paint was 1mm thick in places  that's why it looked badly repaired in places. thanks

No problem! Was this the belly pan or main fairing?

I just sold the cowl too- I asked in the post office how much it'd be to send to Netherlands (for a potential buyer) and was told £9.20. I go home and get the go-ahead from him, so give it to my girlfriend to send because I'm busy, and she comes back with a reciept for £25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only sold it for £30! FFS... I'm well annoyed.. WOMEN!
