Rai86 is right then, You're too short!
![]() I'd be amazed if you didn't lean over that far on a daily basis. Its not as far away as you think. Last edited by Berlin; 21-07-10 at 09:32 AM. |

I'm certain I do. My tyres are used to the edge. I've tried stick a knee out, but I think I need to hang off the bike a bit more. The thing is, I am more comfortable and probably quicker riding like a do now.

...At the moment.
You will be until hanging off becomes "normal". Don't think "knee out", think "Knee Forwards and down". Just get used to leaning your body over to each side first (butt still in the centre of the seat). Lean your inside shoulder forwards kinking the elbow slightly. No need to hang off until you get used to this. C Sorry for hijacking the thread! Last edited by Berlin; 21-07-10 at 10:04 AM. |

![]() ![]() I am short to tho if it makes you feel better. I can get the front pipes, peg (altho that **** me up mid corner) toe slider...but not my knee. But apparently its cus i actually dont really move my bum off the seat much - even when i think i am lol. Bikes as far as it can go...im just the one that needs to move ![]() Edit: not on SV might i add Last edited by Rai86; 21-07-10 at 10:23 AM. |

OK, last derail on this. If neccessary we can start another thread.
In this video look at: 1) Where his left knee is in comparison to where his right footpeg is. Its on the same level as his right boot if the bike was vertical. 2) His left bum cheek being *below* the level of the seat. He's moved his bum off to the left then dropped the cheek down. This is because hes moved his knee down and forwards. Its not far off the bike at all. Its not WAY out there. 3) Inner shoulder forwards of outer shoulder, again because he's dropped his knee down and forwards. 4) when he picks his knee up at the end of the turn note the angle of the bike. It isn't that far over. 5) Ignore the carp music! ![]()
