I regret selling my Perception Corsica 'S' creek boat. It was from the era before the short dumpy creek boats we have these days, sold it for such a boat. That boat had seen some amazing boating in the Alps and all over the UK. She always helped me out when I screwed up, from the very first time I paddled her. The newer boat just didn't gel with me the same.
I share some of my greatest paddling memories with that boat, should have kept her. |

I remember trading in my CB500 and sitting on it outside Blunder Road as they brought round my SV (which I was about to discover had a dead battery and no fuel)... and thinking was I doing the right thing, I'd really enjoyed my CB, my first bike, etc.
It then sat on their website for over a year as nobody would pay their ridiculous price (which was more than I'd paid for it and also showed what a bunch of f'ing c's they'd been with the trade in value) and tormented me. On a geekier note, when we moved my parents said I could only keep two of my three game systems. I decided to keep the Genesis/SegaCD/32X and Colecovision, and get rid of the NES. My parents duly sold it, three joypads, lightgun, lightgun helmet, arcade stick, Game Genie and 15 excellent games to the family across the street for like $20. I knew I was ripped off, the neighbours knew I'd been ripped off and even offered more money when they saw the quantity and condition (everything was mint, manuals and all) of what they'd gotten... and my parents turned them down! |

Primarily two cars I owned 1st BMW2002 Turbo and a MK11 Lotus Cortina. The later was in full Lotus race trim as my brother-in-law worked for Lotus. Both would be worth a few bob in todays market.
Just remembered after that program about speed and the TT last night BSA Gold Star with regard to bikes Last edited by Dicky Ticker; 18-08-10 at 12:45 PM. |

I really want an SV1000 come insurance renewal (march/April) but I'll hav to get rid of one of my bikes atm in order to maybe have the money...
I have a Fazer600 '98 and a YBR125 '06. The dilemma I'm having is that whatever one ibkeep will be my winter bike. I don't really want to get rid of the Fazer as it is my first bike, and it has taken me to Spain and home, and iloooove it, but at the same time do i really want to designate it to winter riding after such a lovely time!? Although I guess those times will get to continue. Or I could get rid of it and give it a better home 'hopefully'. Plus the fact both bikes are probably worth around £800 |
