I have fitted a few sets of Kyoto seals. Usually when the customer supplies them. As said, they seem on par with other quality pattern makes such as Vesrah. I do however find that genuine seals last considerably longer. Obviously a lot depends on who fits them, & how good the chrome is on the stanchions. I always give the stanchions a good rub down with 1200 wet & dry & silicone lubricant whilst they're off. This helps to remove any high spots/rust/ & general crud. You should spend at least 10 minutes rubbing each fork down, & rub round the stanchion, & not up & down it. I cheat! I have a Lathe so it's 2 minutes for me & not 10 ![]() Cheers. |
