I had those Motrax ones, they're rubbish. Though they did improve the design after I had mine- they had to really, the longer bung was held on with only about 7mm of thread in the alloy. I never got as far as crashing, I fitted them once, removed them for some other work, and when refitting the thread stripped before it reached the recommended torque.
They did eventually refund me and change the design (it only needed a proper length bolt) though they didn't recall existing stock, but it's still fundamentally a crap design. The location's wrong, the construction's wrong... Pure mince. To get it to stick out far enough (and it doesn't really) they have to be very long, which makes them hopelessly weak. Had varying results with R&Gs too, they were up to about version 3 by the time I had my last set, design was madly complex and all based around fitting lowers without drilling, at the expense of being any good, folded up like a wet paper umbrella. Oh and then replacement parts were dementedly expensive even before they added a laughable P&P charge. So in conclusion: http://www.motosliders.com/suzuki.html These are fantastic- well conceived, well executed, spare parts available (and faster and cheaper from the US than R&Gs in the UK), there's no better product for the SV, they are Northwindproof. The ones for lowers are basically the R&G design, done right.

Get motosliders if you can find them from anyone who isn't SVRP...
