Lying barstewards is all I can say about Suzuki. Their website clearly lists the camchain tensioner as being discounted for all models, however when you click to generate your voucher, it gives the part number for the K3/K4 models.

I just queried it with a dealer (who said the K5+ models were full price) and then with Suzuki who re-iterated they were full price. I pointed out that the website clearly lists ALL models are discounted, however just got the standard "Not my fault guv, marketing got it wrong..."

Now I appreciate it's not his fault, but fancy doing a 'bike of the month' advertised as K3-K7 but then actually only flogging specific older parts off cheap.

Pah!

I know you're not interested, but I'm going to tell you anyway!

I sent a complaint to Suzuki customer services through the website. Had a message today saying they'll honour the price and do me a K5 cam chain tensioner for £34.03...result!

Anyone else need some?

Ive got an engine gearbox to fix is it worth me buying a full gasket set from suzuki or ebay (im sure ebay prices are the same as the 'discounted' prices from suzuki) but you buy from suzuki you can be sure its all there and it fits i suppose!

I nearly bought an OEM cam chain tensioner off ebay that was going for £40, which is cheaper than brand new, then I saw the Suzuki offer which was cheaper still.
