So hindle can i do all that cool stuff with a standard ipad or do i need to jailbreak it?

What's an ipad cost though £650? it's a toy if you can afford it get one, if you can't slag it off

no you need to jailbreak have a good read up on these sites and see if you fancy it some technical know how is needed so don't try it if your not confident.

they start at around £430 mate

Funnily enough, the Galaxy phone running android was pants as well...perhaps the quality has something to do with Samsung as opposed to the OS?? I dunno cos I haven't used either an iPad or a Galaxy tab, mainly as I have a laptop and a Desire so not really sure if I could justify the likes of a tab..

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a bad tablet.
Android 2.2 and previous on a tablet, is a bad tablet.

Honeycomb I think will be a different story and I think when the other hardware manufactures jump in we will see some nice devices that can put up a bit of competition againts the ipad.

If honeycomb attracts more developers and begins to have a similar developer capacity as iOS I would defiantly consider one.
