I rode up to Ellesmere to get my prescription cashed in.
Close encounters with an artic milk tanker wagon, three tractors (one Ford, two MF), a 53 seater coach on a tight corner on this narrow country lane where the farmer hadn't hosed the road after his cattle had gone into the milking shed, the road surface outside the ABP (slaughterhouse) plant that looks like a grenade practice zone from all the HGVs going over it, snobby cow in a VW Touareg complete with personal plate (and you know what that means  ), and finally a hedge trimmer.And that was just on ethe way up there. Wonder why I bother. |
