If your thinking IL4 then there is a couple of options like the CB1000R which is a super comfy bike, goes very well too.

The older style Tuonos just dont do it for me personally
I love the look of the factory ones too with their bling frame. Expensive taste huh? (others may say chavy)

Superstar - I too really like the buells! They look so industrial and cool. I'd love one of the 900's.

I wouldn't mind trying out the crossrunner when it arrives too, but not sure if that engine will be flat like the VFR is said to be...Whatever it is it has to have ABS available...

Isn't the VFR a V4?

Nor me to be honest, but that's a lot of bike for that money.

Very nice to laugh and run...care to explain?

Okay so a little context for my thinking, I want a bike I do not have to rev the nuts off and a VFR will perform well when revved but is fairly mundane at the lower range of revs right? Atleast that's what I have heard, this is all hear say.

I'll give anything a try once though, care to convince me otherwise?

And don't compare against the SV, compare against the Tuono, Tiger etc

Yep, v-tec...half the valves until 7K I think...hence not so much power until higher revs...a test ride would give me a better understanding or even someone posting what they've found from owning one maybe?

Yeah probably is a good buy, but I just couldn't ever buy something that I don't enjoy the looks of

I thought V4's are meant to be quite torquey? Friend's dad has an RSV4 Factory (i know different to the VFR) but they've said how it pulls like a total train from nearly any revs?

But it has a system called V-tec...half the valves until 7K I think...hence not so much power until higher revs...a test ride would give me a better understanding or even someone posting what they've found from owning one maybe?

Apologies for my ignorance, I am fairly new to bikes and so don't have the understanding or background to the technology as some do...a little at the mercy of others you might say

edit: derailed so apologies...I'll just shut up and read with interest
