So is that Saturday 26th March, from 1pm in the Counting House in George Square, Glasgow?
If the plan is to move on from there to another pub, can we say a when and where for boozer no.2 for anyone that gets held up or isn't able to make the counting House? Cheers Fred

Lets call that the plan then?
There's plenty of pubs about! From experience, Horseshoe Bar in Drury Street serves a damn good pint, and tends to have a good spread of male and female customers, aside from that, Rufus T Firefly on Hope Street is a rock boozer, and prides its self on letting smokers have a pint and a fag at the same time on the roof, which is heated and under a proper cover! I believe Quedos also recommended a place out by the motorway (but that may well be too far away) As time gets closer, and theres a definite list of people, I'll circulate my mobile number and that way folk will know where we are all the time! (But shall certainly decide on a 2nd boozer with a time to make it easy for people!)

if you want a boozer like the horseshoe, we could head down to the Roderick Dhu, its the same type of thing but cleaner and the smokers bit is in the back of the pub and is sheltered, never had food out of the place though, it also puts you right next to Hope St so there are tons of boozers within seconds walk, our works 5-a-side team does a pub crawl up it every christmas...

Two cans of monster and let him run free, I'll keep this in mind! Gotta say its a pub i've never actually heard of, but cleaner than the horseshoe is good. I'll pop in this week! (I'll call it research)

Aye IIIonster energy works for me!!! I could run faster than the go-karts could drive... If I remember rightly my mind was still running at about 4 in the morning...
'The Dhu' is on Waterloo Street (come out the hope St entrance of Central Station and its in front on the right) its one of my works locals. To be honest if I was going to drag people to a pub in Glasgow it would be 'the State Bar' up on Holland St (just off Sauchiehall St) but I don't think it does food... Theres also a really nice pub down on John St (used to be John St Jam)

Well much like edinburgh I reckon we'll just end up where the mood takes us, would just be good to have one or two confirmed stops to allow laterunners to catch up
