Interesting how this thread started with someone worried about his SV kicking out flames, and now others want it!!! I have a blue flame can, but no flame, only very satisfying popping.

I get plenty of popping on mine on over run between 3-4.5k, I can hear it with earplugs in so there might be a hint of flame there but either way I like it like that.

because most people like the popping so there's no reason to get rid of the pair system or block it

i removed mine because i wanted to

Aside from the PAIR system, popping and flames are more often caused by weak mixtures, not rich.

how so ? if the mixture is week then there would be a lack of fuel meaning no ignition of fuel (flames) if its rich the excess fuel passes in to the exhaust gets ignited by the heat and air in the exhaust ?

i get it tooo!!! i have seen it by tilting my mirror down so i can see the end of my exhaust, it does some really loud ones when the engine is cold, but still pops and bangs when hot, just not as much.

and as some others have said, its usually at 4.5 to 4K rpm and in third gear,

not sure if it flamed with the beowulf on it but i bought an ART race can off a guy on here and that makes some HUGE blue flames

My pointy does it 2 , i have blueflame twin oval exhaust without baffles. Also got a green cotton filter if that makes a dif. I always thought this was the norm on bike upon deceleration, under engine braking. If you wanna be even cooler you can flip ignition on/off when reving it to shoot a flame too lmao.
Not sure how good this is for the bike though.
