It would fit nicely round your love handle. Wouldn't even notice it was there. They're like a bumbag.

Just found this info:
HTH What is the UK law on Tinted/Iridium visors? Any visor with a light transmission rate of less than 50% is deemed to be not UK road legal. A typical dark tint and iridium visor has between 40% to 20% light transmission rates. A standard road legal tinted visor has a 50% transmission rate. In the latest police guideline report this is the following recommendation to all England, Wales and Northern Ireland forces “Tinted visors, if used during daylight hours, advice only, if used during the hours of darkness or conditions of reduced visibility consider prosecution using ‘Tintman’ equipment where available. It is acknowledged that there is much debate about this issue and many variables and anomalies can be applied. Therefore a pragmatic approach is necessary and only in cases where there is an obvious danger should prosecution be considered” For what it's worth, I only have 2 visors - 1 clear and 1 black for race use. When it's sunny and if I'm definately going to be back before it gets too dark, I whack the black one on and I've never been pulled over... yet...

better than you'd think. Most tunnels have lights in them! Even my black race visor isn't that dark from the inside and is fine to use in the early evening and even in crap, overcast weather. I wouldn't use it for commuting day to day though as you never know.

Just get a cheap oxford one. That's what I have.
I came to work on the bike every dry day last summer when I passed with a black visor, and I even nodded at a parked up biker cop on a very overcast day last week as I too was then pulling up and absolutely nothing was done about it. |
