Yes but if you leave them on they burn into the paint, so regular cleaning will help this, also a good wax will protect the paintwork and also make it easier to clean next time.

I wouldnt do this on a cheaper bike tbh but £7.5k on a bike is a lot of money for a plaything, to me anyway so I want to look after it best I can.

That said if I had a curvy, I wouldn't wash that ever as it may improve the looks

Is this Zymol was?

I used to love detailing cars, my 106 Rallye was immaculate.

Bikes not so much, they are a pain because you can never get the chain area perfectly clean and thats frustrating.

I'll let you come see a chain and surrounding area looking like it just came out of the factory crate one day

Paddock stand, parrafin and a paint brush is your friend, followed by wash & rinse & repeat until all the grit is gone, followed by compressed air, followed by WD40 on a cloth.
