£1,200 without mot, my local MOT station is over 20 miles away i would get it done but don't have time before Le Mans and i need to insure my other bike.

because i thought i could get more for it in a private sale, and i had the money for the triumph so i could sell the bike in my own time, but non-financial circumstances change.
