This all very much depends on whether your V5 states a model. Very few bike V5s did until recently - certainly none of the 29 RD400s I have owned ever did.
I still own a very written off and long stripped out 1971 Mini Cooper S, the V5 I have tells me it is a "2 axle rigid body saloon", no mention of what model it is at all. were I to rebuild it the only way I could ever identify it as a genuine Mini Cooper S and not some tarted up 850 with all the 1275 Cooper S bits fitted (which is what it basically will be if I can't find a genuine S shell) is to show a prospective purchaser a book I have listing the differences in chassis number designations. Having had a look at the V5s I have in front of me, my Mini won't be shown on that site, nor will my RD400F, nor my TS250C nor my CBR600FW - the only vehicles I own that will show up are my Versys and my BMW 3 series. |

29 RD 400's ?? wtf was going on there? Obsession, museum building or just buying up the lot to create demand and then sell, sell sell, profit, profit, profit?
