Eww that pic of Kate Moss is rancid!!
I ended up dropping the girlfriend and going with injruy_ian on a social ride out with an IAM group. Most knackering ride out ever. Was riding far beyond my comfort zone. Next time I think I'll take tea and cake in Soho. |

Good day all round, met the lovely Sam at Boxhill after a spirited 50 miles, off down to Oakdene to pick up her brother Craig, a recent initiate to the biking world, another 50 miles back to her place, done a bit of greasing and oiling (something sadly lacking on those bikes), and then off to Raf's on the way to Soho for the evening, I must say I was pleasantly surprised for someone with 4 weeks experience Craig did well for what I'd imagine is his longest day on the bike so far and he seemed to have enjoyed himself, Sam's come on leaps and bounds recently and it's nice to see her enjoying the bike again.
Craig and his new steed   Introduction to the world of grease....  Brother and sister ready to go.  Arriving at Soho   Sam tried the R1 and a ZX10 on for size.  Cheers Mark.
