a soldering iron and some plastic welding rods. learn on some old keyboards or other plastic parts first so you get in the swing of it before tackling your fairings. under no circumstances use a dremmel anywhere near fairings as the bits for dremmels are to small and you will gouge bits out.

welding plastic with a soldering iron is easy. you preferably want an iron with a chisel head. push the iron on the plastic lightly to melt plastic at back of crack using the tip of the iron then feed the rod at the front of the iron then move on in a stepping action. melt.. feed... step... so on and so on until you have welded past the start of the crack. if you don't weld past the start of the crack then it might split again. be careful on edges as you can melt the edge away very easily.

also do it in a well ventalated area with a fan blowing the fumes away.

you can also fix some cracks that haven't gone right to the end of the fairing where you can move it about in another way.

Get a pin, mix up some apoxy resin, carefully put a tiny bit on the pin and poke it into the crack, be careful of wedging too much in or it will spill out to the front and look crap. Hold it together until it starts knitting together, then once thats done its easy to plastic fill the back without it moving about1

Have used this method for an almost seamless un-noticeable bodge, when I sold my bike. Could hardly see it.
