Hopper was quite happy to sit in third place most of the race, I think if he had made his move earlier (easy said sitting on sofa) that he could have got some distance ahead like the almost forgotten winner Shakey

I was lucky enough to watch the race itself from the paddock surrounded by people from the two teams. Not only one of the best races I've ever seen, but some of the best atmosphere I've ever watched a race in too.

I was rather pleased to be able to have a wander around the grid before the race too. Hill had a good old chat with Ellison before the start, wonder if Tommy put in a quick request to hold Hopper up as much as possible

Got to be one of the best bits of racing i've certinaly seen, well the most exciting more to the point in those final 2/3 laps. Just excellent stuff. I had recorded it and even my dad bothered to ring me! To say watch this asap. Was just immense great advert for bike racing.
