Had these Puma boots during numerous down pours as well as walking through puddles whilst instructing CBT'ers.
NEVER leaked a drop and as comfy as a pair of trainers for walking about in.
These are gore-tex and cost me £180 in summer 2007.
Highly recommended.

+1 more I've also got these and never had a drop of water in them and that includes last Dec when it poured down on me and I was soaked right through my sheltex textiles

You've had the answer you need - TCX Gore Tex!

Mine are Oxtar Gore Tex before they had to change the name. I paid 100 notes at the NEC show a couple of years ago, never had wet feet (unless greenlaning and water's gone in the top! And I've actually paddled about in fords in them and they've been as waterproof as a rubber welly boot!), and in minus temperatures I wore a normal pair of socks and never noticed cold feet.

My sidi goretex (recurring theme) have been great.
I have a few friends who swear by the alt bergs though.

black rain evo's are ok for showers and light rain but leak when it's monsoon time. they were fine when new but the i think the waterproof lining is starting to deteriorate inside, same thing happens to gloves.

think i'll go for altbergs next.

Get thisen down to Richmond & they'll put some high heels! and soles on so you can get that Street Triple.
If your feet are a strange shape, they do made to measure.
Must go & polish my (Altberg) walking boots.

Whats the sizing like? size 10 fits size 10 or do you need a half size up for better fit like the sidi's?

Sidi boots are a tight as feck fit. i use mine without the insoles and they fit perfecto but i have narrow feet. size up if you wear thick socks and have wide feet.
