Got an evotech tail tidy on it's way (annoying, as I bought it new for £60, and the next day one came up on here second hand for £25!).

And I have lubed the chain now

Pyramid fenda extenda turned up in the post today too.

How strange SamN - you bought a lovely bike because it was standard, and now want to change it. Does this mean that, by your own buying standards, you are going to modify/devalue it?
Yep, I am an old fogey, but I would rather get out riding than modifying - other than federextendas etc

You've got to be kidding me?

I bought it standard as I wanted a clean slate to mod myself and make it my own. How boring would the world be if every vehicle was standard? I'm an enthusiast and like to do things my way

I always keep standard parts for my cars and bikes so that I can put them back to standard come resale, therefore not devaluing it.

You say you'd rather get out riding it... I ride it every day, doesn't take long to fit a few new parts every now and again does it, and it's the enjoyment of it all

Yes, you are right, it was a bit of a wind up! I struggled to find time to clean the bike, let alone modify it.

Cheers
