Not tried others no, been reccomended the zx10r and zzr14 ones but can't find any in the right year. I'm after a straight forward swap, do I don't have to mess round cutting my bike

Hmmm i might have a zx10r shock their 2006/07 so the one that requires little modification, just waiting for a price

so its 7mm longer than stock so you might have to swap the dog bones? and harder(A good thing)

I do believe it's just as simple as removing the heat shield from the tool kit, and using a kwak bottom bolt
