If they let me know how they are going not be grumpy with me for sugesting a course to eliminate a cause . Believe me when I lost power several times round junctions.

General be nice as £4500spent is not pocket money
Then I could believe they are trying to fit it.

Also check the swing arm has been replaced if required and the fork bottoms are not cracked from overtightening the spindle pinch bolts on the RSV.

When I got the Vrap, Peg rode it 80 0dd miles home for me, as I was pregnant.
Next morning there was coolant everywhere.

Common problem with the radiator is theres a mount washer mod that was done under warranty as a recall thing. Some didn't get done, and mine was one of them being small mileage, and got lost somewhere between owners. Causes the curved rad to flex under strain from the hoses pushing on it, then springs leaks like a sieve.

Rang dealer, said I'm sendng it back on a Carol Nash breakdown truck. They weren't exactly happy, because I knew what was wrong and how to fix it, plus why should I pay for it, seeing as it needed sending off to a rad repair first, expensive, before it would need radwelding,

DavieSV popped in, to make sure they were being nice to my bike. They dragged their heels for three weeks, and Peg picked it back up...rode it home.....and it did it again, but I was expecting it!

If you are having issues, play up hell, as they really don't care once they have got the bike out of their showroom.....especially with them bloody highly strung Italian types

As for losing power round corners.......mine, and Peg did that once, overtaking a couple of 600s, bit embarrassing, but they don't like going below 3k revs, and sulk, so cut out sometimes, theres a few options to fix, but I haven't had the problem, mainly because I don't ride it like an IL4 and expect it to go round a roundabout for a sniff of rev! Try lower gear, higher rev than 3k.

I had to get persistent with them, they were always busy, and wouldn't call back, which is why I managed to wangle a breakdown truck delivery, so they had no choice but to fix it!!!

keep ringing them until they cave in

keep calling them for an update.

is it from a main dealer with a few shops around or from a little independant type dealer?

if you are not getting anywhere with the staff in the shop try to go higher, sales manager, customer services etc expressing your concerns and lack of updates.

next week???

how long have they had the bike back?

make sure that they don't try and fob you off that by the time they look at it the warranty has ran out!

Keep hassling them for an update and if you are not happy then give them a deadline for a result. at the end of the day they have had your money and you are without a bike.
