Gents, I will definitely pop by if I'm in your neck of the woods. I need more excuses to do random road trips anyway. Do you rapscallions ever go greenlaning? I know Mr Owenski does a lot of that pedalling type thing *shudder*

Think matt might be on the floor about now lol greenlaning on dirtbikes? I've done a ktm offroad day before (immense) but tbh if I took a drugs test you'd find traces of sportsbikes in my system. can't get enough of them...

As for mountain biking, think a few of us are gunning to go do something as a group again soon

I love sports bikes too many, but love the countryside and therefore greenlaning just as much.

I have a mountain bike. Yes, it's a Halfords one. Yes, I know that means it sucks. But to show you my dedication to mountain bikes, I bought it over a year ago. I have moved house twice since then, and it has only been ridden once. I cycled around the block, which consisted of hills steeper than everest, and my legs turned to jelly. I put it in the garage, stumbled inside and since then, it has remained unused. The brake discs have a nice layer of light corrosion on them from never having to stop anything, and their is even a shiny barcode label on the brake cable, still showing it's original price.

Petrol does it for me. All this peddling lark doesn't suit my frail lanky limbs. And on that note, I'm going up the shops on the SV for some fags. It's raining, but it's not been used for over a week. I will give the mountain bike a cursory glance of mild contempt when I go into the garage.
