hi Hopper, luv the USD forks, how hard were they to fit. U mentioned a custom made top yoke?

They were actually pretty straightforward. The K6 GSXR 750 bottom yoke uses the same headstock bearings etc as the standard Sv items so its just a case of removing the standard bits and replacing with GSXR bits. The hardest part of the fork conversion was sourcing all the bits that work together that were also in good condition but there is plenty about. It would be more ideal if you could find someone who has a complete front end rather than buying bits separately like I did but either way works.

As for the custom top yoke see my last post in this thread for a website link. This part is not essential as you can use the GSXR top yoke too but the custom machined one has provisions for the standard clocks to be mounted and it looks exactly like the original Sv one so I would highly recommend it.

thanx Hopper, i`ve got a K6 that i`ve decided is now my project bike, not sure what i`m gonna do yet but after seeing ur front end definately doing that. Good work fella

Thanks mate, yea defiantly would recommend a GSXR front end it improves the handling ten fold plus it looks really good too if u need any more info feel free to give me a shout.
