Not just yet LOL
The time saved (about 1-2 hours each day) by NOT using public transport cannot be measured in monetary terms
But then again, I could go back to cycling everywhere. Totally free!

Agy,not meaning to be personal but do you have a UK Licence or are you using an EU licence? Age and postcode is more than likely to be your killer but apart from trying ALL the comparison sites I don't know what to suggest.
I change my insurers regularly as often going to a new insurer gets you an introductory discount or cash back which compensates for any increase.
Currently paying £122 with £20 cashback for a 1000cc Triumph fully comp 6000miles p.a. but the bike is alarmed, garaged and max NCB.

I alternate between Bennetts and Swinton

Yes I strongly suggest you do, I don't like to put up with their robbery so easily. Last year my premium was around £300.

The guy I spoke to said something like "Great news, you can renew your policy and pay less than you did the previous year!"

I thought, "Fantastic, I wonder how much cheaper!" And when I asked him, he said £460. As you can imagine, I threw a (calm and collected) fit telling him it's more expensive and I have 3 years NCB etc etc.

A couple of days later they ring back and I give them a false quote and they lowered their original quote down to £240.

Something ins't right here.... £700 really is excessive for TPFT!!! When I mentioned to some people a while back what I'm paying now they suggested I complain somewhere as it's absurd. Can't remember where tho... anyone knows??

I had the bike registered in Kent, Gillingham to get the cheapest price. It was about £600 when registered in London, Wembley.
