I'm glad I'm not renewing at the moment by the looks of it. Currently on £90 Fully Comp.

Asked for my renewal today, £589 cheaper than online, then knocked them down to 529 no interest on monthly payments. Going to knock them down again, if I can get then down to £480 ill pay for it whole today haha

In the end (since this seems to have gone from a "wtf are they on about" thread to a "how much did you pay for your insurance" thread, I insured the KTM for £757, the gixer for £303, and a bare CB400F frame with nothing but a reg plate cable-tied to it for £102.

It might be over a grand in all, but I see it as the price to pay for not having to ride an SV650

...which I should note is insured for £100 with a £500 excess.

Still, unless it falls off a shelf onto someone's head, it's not like I'll be making a claim.

Wow, with a quote that much, call them up and ask them to quote you on insuring various body parts. You might find you have a willy worth £2.5 million and think what a chat up line that would be!
