Default Re: Best way to lock my SV up?

Rather than making a new thread.
Can anyone recommend a chain that isn't a burden to take around with you.
Will be parking up away from home alot while visiting friends, could do with something fit for purpose but can still be put under the pillion seat or tank/tail bag.

Cheers

They do sell the Protector 19mm chain and Lock, sure they will give you discount if you buy it all from them if you call them. I already had the Almax Immobiliser Series IV Uber + Squire SS65CS Lock which fits the Anti pinch pin great, You must use SS65CS Squire lock as it fits nice and tight on the end of the pinch pin grove.

Almax Immobiliser Series III + Squire SS65CS Stronghold Lock is 16mm and still unable to be cut by bolt cutters and sure I have read bikers using it for more mobile security? But with all chains it will only buy you time as can all be cut through with angle grinder.... but you would hope that you or someone would hear that . So also consider getting an alarmed disc lock/alarmed pad lock and also think twice where you lock it up.
