Well i bought my DanMoto exhaust brand new for £110. Cheap and cheerful was too loud at first but then you get used to it. Ive got a baffle in mine for everyday use and take it out when i want to wake up the neighbours haha

I LOVE the sound of the Austin Full race system - sounds like a SuperBike. But is that sound really achievable on a Super Twin SV650? Or is it partly dependant on having 3 or 4 cylinders too?
The question I'm really asking is: What are the cheapest & easiest options for getting that sound out of a humble SV650S Curvy?

Purely for sound, Hindle. Without doubt. They produce a rasp on the SV that I've not heard any other system make.

There's a couple of You Tube clips of bikes with Hindle exhausts which sound fantastic, & the prices seems very good on eBay. Thanks for the advice Berlin

I liked the original Suzuki Exhaust for the gentle rumble it produced, however it looked gopping and let's face it, the SV likes to sing.

Following an accident I was given a Beowulf Warrior can and my Mechanic took the baffle out for an experiment. Because I have a hearing defect I found the unbaffled noise to be painful, so put the baffle back in. She is much louder than standard, but she growls now instead of purrs.

Not convinced I like it yet, I find it a bit much late at night when the neighbours are twitching the curtains!

I've got a Carbon Can fitted, & although I like the deep rumble of the V-Twin, I still want the "Power Scream" of a Super Bike. There also doesn't appear to be a way to remove the baffles (without a hacksaw).
I've watched MANY YouTube clips lately & some sound great, but I'm sure they don't give a full account of what the different exhausts sound like "in real life".

Mine came with a stubby Scorpion Titanium/Stainless one that cost the previous owner £350!!!! It does sound great with or without the baffle and pops and bangs on the overrun with the baffle out. This gets a bit wearing after a while so I tend to keep it in
