No that bit the dust some time ago hence new cable and full clutch which has worked well. I'll keep at it i must be overlooking something. Thanks for trying

Ive done this adjustment, cables and clutch plates etc loads of times for others with no problems but maybe my bike wants a few days off lol

Maybe a longshot Geo but the only other variable that changed was the oil. Same type as before? What's the level?
You could try losing a little bit of oil or dropping it to minimum on the gauge, see if that makes any difference before you decide to rip the clutch apart. |

Does the clutch pushrod move freely? You'll struggle to push it in against the clutch springs but you can pull it out.
